Polyommatus iphigenia est papilio subfamiliae Polyommatinarum familiae Lycaenidarum, a Gottlieb Augusto Gulielmo Herrich-Schäffer anno 1847 nominatus. In Graecia meridiana, Turcia, et Asia Minore endemicus est.[1]

Descriptio |


Hic est papilio perparvus qui dimorphismum sexuale fert, quo mas caeruleus vividus, femina badia est, ambobusque sunt fimbriae albae. Dorsum est ochraceum, linea punctorum nigrorum colore albo circumdatorum atque una linea alba marginem alae posterioris adornante notatum. Singuli statu erucae immaturae hiemant, a formicinis Lasiis alienis aliti.[3]Volatus unius feturae per annum mensibus Iulio et Augusto fit.[4]Larvae Onobrychi alba vesci solent.[5] In locis siccis in solis calcariis habitare solet.
