Eustorgius fuit episcopus Lemovicensis ab anno 1106 usque ad 1137 et patronus cantilenae historicae Occitanicae Canso d'Antioca de prima expeditione sacra et de obsidione a Cruce signatis urbis Antiochiae. Ita nos certiores facit in Chronicis suis Galfridus Vosiensis coenobita, historicus Lemovicensis:



Gregorius, cognomento Bechada, de castro de Turribus, professione miles, subtilissimi ingenii vir, aliquantulum imbutus litteris, horum gesta preliorum materna (ut ita dixerim) lingua, ritmo vulgari, ut populus pleniter intellegeret, ingens volumen decenter composuit, et, ut vera et faceta verba proferet, duodecim annorum spatio super hoc opus operam dedit. Ne vero vilesceret propter verbum vulgare, non sine precepto episcopi Eustorgii et consilio Gauberti Normanni hoc opus aggressus est.[1]

Cantilena Gregorii Bechada deperdita est. Servantur versús septingenti recensionis paulo posterioris, ab anonymo confectae, in paginis manu scriptis apud bibliothecam Regalis Academiae Historicae Hispanicae (cod. 117) iacentibus.
