Auxilio Hippolyti Atestini cardinalis Iulius III anno 1550 factus est papa. Ob hoc papa gratias egit et illum legatum papalem Tiburis regionisque fecit. Hippolytus hoc munere exornatus villam pro palatio aedificavit eo loco quo ante aedificia vetustate dilapsa Benedictinorum erant.


Anno 1918 post bellum mundanum primum villa fit res publica civitatis Italianae. Sumptu publico villa restauratur et publico aperitur. Post bellum mundanum alterum villa iterum reparatur quod necessarium erat quod in bello pyrobolus explosuerat et aedes laeserat.
