Hantonia, Anglosaxonice Hantune sed hodie vulgo Southampton, est urbs Angliae e qua comitatus Hantoniensis nuncupatur. Fuit burgus regni Occidentalium Saxonum.[1] Ibi nundinae tenebantur ab anno circiter 750, mercatus autem ab anno 1461.[2]
