In theologia Christiana Parusia (Graece Δευτέρα, Παρουσία) est adventus Iesu Christi in gloria, quae in fine temporum exspectatur. Cum hoc adventu coniunctum est ultimum iudicium, perfectio regni Dei et vita aeterna. Primi Christiani se parusiam viventes adhuc visuros esse speraverunt. in arte christiana, praeserim in partibus orientalibus imperii Romani, parusia expectata repraesentabatur in operibus scalptis aut pictis a throno vacuo, quod genus artificii vocatur hetoemasia.


In philosophia hellenistica parusia praesentiam actuosam deorum vel dominatorum signficavit.


Plato hoc verbo praesentiam idearum significat.
