Fridericus Gulielmus Ratcliffe (Frederick William Ratcliffe; natus anno 1927), philologus linguae Theodiscae, operam dedit ab anno 1954 in bibliothecis universitatum Mancuniensis, Glasguensis, Novocastellensis. Ab anno 1965, Mose Tyson successor, fuit bibliothecarius bibliothecae Universitatis Mancuniensis. Bibliothecam Iohannem Rylands, olim independens, in bibliothecam universitatis anno 1972 incorporavit. Ab anno 1980 fuit bibliothecarius Universitatis Cantabrigiensis.
