261 Prymno[1] est asteroides systematis solaris nostri, asteroidibus Cinguli Principalis attributus. Astronomis terrestribus magnitudinem absolutam 9.44 monstrat. Die 31 Octobris 1886 a Christiano Henrico Friderico Peters in Observatorio Litchfield versato repertus est.[2]


Rerum orbitalium ratio epochae 4 Ianuarii 2010 constitit. Qua epocha 261 Prymno per dies 1300 circa solem movebatur. Axem orbitalem habebat unitatum astronomicarum 2.33 et eccentricitatem 0.09, distans igitur a sole quam minime unitatibus 2.12, quam maxime unitatibus 2.54. Inclinatio orbitalis 3.64° reperiebatur, anomalia media 92.5°.
