Vita |


Wolke ex anno 1763 Gottingae studiosus fuit, ex anno 1767 Berolini in facultate iurum. Praeterea studebat etiam rebus linguisticis, mathematicis, physicis. Mox intentissimus fuit in res paedagogicas tantummodo.


Anno 1770 assecla factus est in circulis Ioannis Bernardi Basedow et auxiliabatur ei in conficiendo opere magno praetitulato »Elementarwerk«. Anno 1774 Dessaviae ad Philanthropinum operas dare coepit. Quos ludos anno 1784 reliquit migraturus trans Daniam, Sueciam et Livoniam Petropolim petivit ubi imperatrix Catharina II compatriotam magno gaudio accepit. Attamen munus firmum nactus non est. Anno 1802 revenit Geveras, quae urbs tunc in unione politica cum Russia erat. Postea vitam degebat Tharandt in urbe Saxoniae, Dresdae, Berolini (inde ab anno 1813). Vacabat annos omnes variis laboribus paedagogicis et scriptoriis.
