Aby Warburg sive plenius Abrahamus Mauritius Warburg (natus Hamburgi e familia Iudaica die 13 Iunii 1866; mortuus ibidem die 26 Octobris 1929) fuit historiae artis studiosus Germanicus et conditor praeclarae bibliothecae quae vulgo Kulturwissenschaftliche Bibliothek Warburg appellatur; quae bibliotheca, Hamburgi condita, post potestatem Germaniae ab Nazistis nactum ad Londinium anno 1933 translata est, ubi sub nomine Instituti Warburg usque hodie sub aegide Universitatis Londiniensis floret.
